# WP-CLI

To use wp-cli with the [News Parser](https://www.news-parser.com/) plugin, follow these steps:

1. Install wp-cli: Ensure that you have wp-cli installed on your system. If you haven't installed it yet, you can refer to the wp-cli documentation for instructions on how to install it.
2. Access the Command-Line Interface: Open the command-line interface or terminal on your system.
3. Execute the Command: To activate the autopilot function and automate the parsing and saving of posts from RSS feeds, use the following command: wp autopilot.
4. Specify the Interval: If you want to customize the frequency at which the autopilot function is triggered, you can include the `--interval` parameter followed by the desired interval. For example, `wp autopilot --interval=hourly` will set the autopilot function to run on an hourly basis.

By executing the wp autopilot command with the specified interval, you can automate the parsing and saving of posts from RSS feeds using wp-cli. This feature provides greater control and efficiency in managing your post-related tasks.

Please note that the above example is for illustrative purposes, and you can adjust the interval parameter according to your specific needs, such as hourly, daily, or any other desired interval.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://news-parser.gitbook.io/news-parser-plugin-v2/wp-cli.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
